Jackson County's 1st District, which includes Kansas City west of Troost, is the economic and cultural engine of the region.  While Geoff has been a life-long resident of Jackson County, he has lived in the 1st District for 19 years including time in West Plaza, Brookside, Waldo and South Kansas City. Over that time, the city and county have changed significantly including a renaissance of downtown, growth of the Crossroads Arts District, an expanding streetcar project and historic business development in the south. 

 

As our community changes, county government needs to evolve with an eye on the future.  Geoff will be a forward thinking member of the legislature representing all parts of the district as we build for a better county.
